Here we will offer you different types of splices according to the type of rope and your requirements for the final product.
We can make a new eye on your climbing rope or positioning strap if you have damaged or cut it. We can splice or repair your cargo point splice, redesign it in a new way that will make it fit your work style and give it optimal use. We can splice with rope provided by you (old rope), or you can purchase rope from us to get a unique end product.
Why choose weaves over knots?
Unlike knots, splices preserve the maximum strength of the ropes. This is particularly important with load ropes and the large dynamic and static loads they are subjected to.
The size of the ear can be chosen to suit what it is being used for. For example, the large lugs allow easy manipulation with the whole hand and handling of large devices and are very suitable for load ropes. Small lugs, on the other hand, allow the carabiners to be confined in a precise position, which is important in climbing ropes.
Unlike knots, splices are much more compact and don’t get caught in tight chats in the wood. And every climber knows how important and comfortable this is.
What can and cannot we weave?
The ropes on the market are many and varied, and almost each of them requires an individual approach and attention. Some of them cannot be braided as their construction does not allow this. But if it can be spliced, we’ll do it for you.
We offer rope splices of different construction – 3-, 12- and 24-pole ropes, ropes with Doublebraid construction and special splices (depending on the manufacturer’s requirements). We manufacture products such as adjustable load points (whoopie, loopie, ultra sling, etc.), non-adjustable load and access points, weave rings and dampers.
How much does a splice cost?
The cost of each splice depends on many factors – whether the rope is old or new, whether the splice is unique or standard, whether only an ear is spliced or whether it is a multi-component product, and many others. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to discuss everything and give you an up-to-date price at the end. And if her rope is a type we haven’t spliced before, your first splice will be free. All members of the Arborists Association in Bulgaria receive a 10% discount on the price of the weaves.
